"I am a Lieutenant Colonel on active duty in the US Air Force and received orders to move from Spokane, Washington to San Antonio, Texas while deployed supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. I was told to report to my new duty location less than 60 days from my return to Spokane. After consulting with a realtor we knew through my work, and receiving a very low price suggestion for placing the house on the market, we decided to try selling it ourselves using For Sale By Owner.

After approximately 30 days with no offers, and us running out of time to actively sell our house, we decided to use Ron McIntire as a full service agent. He immediately discussed with us the real market value of our house, which was slightly below what we were asking, and still significantly above what the first realtor suggested. Within weeks we had two offers, the first was lower than we asked, and with Ron's suggestion we counter offered with a more realistic price. However, we were told the possible buyers weren't interested in bargaining, so the negotiations ended. Within a week we got another offer that was more acceptable to us, but still a bit lower than planned. Again, Ron helped suggest a decent counter offer which was accepted. This was almost exactly the price Ron initially suggested as the current market value of the house. We were even able to close on the exact day we wanted.

Ron's real estate expertise was invaluable to us selling our house, especially in a declining market. I was extremely impressed by his work ethic and commitment to us throughout this entire process. We would strongly recommend him to anyone as a top-notch real estate agent.
